CPN started a science season during the summer break and opened a Children Science Club, which will last until July 18[:]
As a part of the rich program on Science Day, celebrated annually in Serbia, every June 10, on Nikola Tesla’s birthday, CPN opened a Children Science Club
CSC will take place every day from June 10 to 18.
Kids, age 7 to 12, will be able to participate in various workshops, social activities and other numerous parts of the program, supervised by qualified educators, science communicators and psychologists.
The program starts at 9am, when a group of maximum 25 students gathers at the CPN Science Club in Knez Mihailova Street 5.
The first hour is reserved for warming up and getting to know each other games, led by a psychologist. After that, it’s time for scientific, physics, math, chemistry, biology, psychology and astronomy workshops.
Aside from the Children Science Club, which is held during day, elementary school students will also have the opportunity to attend the Children Science Camp, which will take place at one of our country’s most significant archeological sites, Viminacijum.
A two-day camp will be organized twice this year: July 12-13, and July 26-27. Along with the Children Science Club, the Camp makes for an interesting concept, best known for its abbreviation, DNK, where kids get to spend their summer doing science.
