TTBD 2014, an event supported by CPN, took place on April 7-8, and offered new opportunities to young engineers[:]
TTBD 2014, themed ”Work on your Networking- Secure your Career”, was held this year, at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, on April 7-8, with the support of CPN. The event was in a form of exhibition, featuring a mini-city, where students got the chance to inform themselves on possible career options, to acquire more information regarding various companies, and also, to visit The Science Square, where they could learn more about up-to-date scientific achievements.
This two-day event also included CPN’s presentation called ” Ten Unsolved Questions of science”, and a number of interactive exhibits, such as: doll houses, or smart locks, as well as some models of IoT Technology. CPN used this event as a opportunity to present a ”face” robot, equipped with a camera with an algorithm capable of detecting emotions, and a EB700++ device, designed to measure and monitor the quality of air and the pollution level.
Among other things, CPN presented the 3D printer to the audience, and demonstrated how it works. The whole event, was in fact, an opportunity for young engineers to learn all about some of the most valued skills today, and to get familiar with the organizational structure and the recruiting policies, as well as to find out about all the available jobs or internship positions in the companies participating in TTBD 2014.
