At CPN’s stand, at Belgrade’s Book Fair, 872 books published by research organizations have been exhibited from October 21st to October 28th

Visitors of Belgrade’s Book Fair will have the opportunity to see 872 books published this year by research organizations in the Republic of Serbia. One hundred and twenty publishers have published these publications and the most numerous ones come from Social and Humanities Research Institutions that traditionally have the largest number of publications.
The institutions that have published the most in 2012 are the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Novi Sad with 55 publications and the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Belgrade, with 35 books published. The Institute for Political Studies and the Teachers Faculty follow with 29 and 28 publications respectively. CPN’s stand will present more than 100 publications by the “Andrejevic” Endowment, specialized in publishing scientific, PHD, Masters works, as well as works from other scientific and educational spheres.
CPN’s catalogue consists of 12 sections: the biotech, social, medical, mathematical, technical, technological and humanistic sciences, followed by publications of the universities, the Serbian Academy of Science and Arts, the works of expert societies, the “Anrejevic” Endowment, Institute of Intellectual Property and the publications published by CPN, that count seven this year.
This way, CPN will show all the publications of the Serbian scientific work as well as the work of scientific institutions in the country. The Center has overtaken the activities of the representation and the promotion of the scientific work that were previously only done by the respective ministries.
CPN’s stand will at the same time be the place where you can meet scientists, visitors interested in science and younger generations. This will be a great place for discussion and an opportunity to participate in debates led by local scientists and authors.
During the Fair, CPN will daily organize many promotions of scientific publications, workshops on different science themes for school kids and many interesting lectures.
