More than 1300 pupils and people from Priboj attended the CPN’s Planetarium projections, organized by their City’s Council[:]
Pupils from Priboj had the opportunity to attend the projections at the CPN’s Portable Planetarium , from December 16 to 20. During those five days, the Gymnasium in Priboj hosted the Planetarium that featured more than 25 projections of the digital sky, and the entrance was free.
The City’s Council organized and supported the CPN’s visit, as a gift for their citizens. More than 1300 people from Priboj had the opportunity to learn about various astronomic phenomena and many secrets of the universe, with the help from the qualified educators.
Every day, from 10am to 2pm, five projections were held, each one lasting 45 minutes.
The Portable Planetarium is basically a spherical cinema, featuring projections of the sky and numerous spectacular objects that could be found in our universe, allowing people to gain an unforgettable educational experience.
The CPN’s Portable Planetarium visited 31 cities in one year, in Serbia, and it was attended by more than 20.000 people.
