CPN opened the first science club in this part of Europe. Its goal is to be the place where everyone interested in science and technology can meet, exchange experience, discuss various subjects and expand their horizon and knowledge.
HOW WAS THE SCIENCE CLUB FOUNDED?
The CPN Science Club is equipped thanks to donations of numerous enterprises and individuals. It took a long time to arrange it and now it represents one of the most important achievements, and it is a crucial tool, which CPN uses to bridge the gap between science and people of Serbia.
WHERE IS THE SCIENCE CLUB LOCATED?
Science Club is situated in Knez Mihailova St. 5, on the second floor of Robna Kuca Beograd, where CPN already organized events such as “May Month of Mathematics”, “Days of the Future: Robotics”, “CERN in Serbia”, “Forest of Knowledge” and many more.
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE CLUB?

The Science Club is a place where you can meet scientists and sciences, where you can make contacts and attend various pop-science events on daily basis: panel discussions, exhibitions, conferences, lectures, presentations, workshops, seminars, meetings, and a number of various informal gatherings where you can discuss topics from the area of science and technology.
WHO ARE THE FRIENDS OF THE CLUB?
Among the partners of the Club, there are: scientific institutes, universities, societies, informal groups, and individuals who want to contribute to the promotion and popularization of science, creative and critical thinking and using scientific methods in everyday activities. All the friends of the Club are welcome to use its space to organize lectures, exhibitions, panel discussions, workshops and other events in the cooperation with the Club coordinators.
WHEN WILL THE BE CLUB OPENED?
The Science Club has already begun working, but it will be officially opened with this year’s, third in a row, “May, Month of Mathematics”. First events, organized in April 2014, represent different aspects of the Club’s work in the following months. Therefore, CPN, in cooperation with other organizations, hosted the following events: Panel ”Lords of the Internet”, lectures for Starup Entrepreneurs, a public discussion ”The Future of Science in Serbia” and school workshops marking the Girls in ICT, Day.
