On November 24, CPN presented the new, interactive space, which encourages creativity, innovation and spreading knowledge[:]
After four years since it was established, and three years of producing popular science programs and exhibitions seen by 1,000,000 visitors, the Center for the Promotion of Science opened the first Makers Lab in Serbia – Kliker.
Makers Lab was ceremonially opened by the CPN’s Director Aleksandra Drecun and State Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development dr. Aleksandar Belić.
The State Secretary congratulated the Center for all the hard work and effort put into fulfilling its mission, and then addressed the audience. Aleksandra Drecun summed up everything CPN did in the past thee years and welcomed all the visitors to the first Makers Lab in Serbia – Kliker.
Numerous visitors had the chance to see how machine for automatic cutting of styrofoam works and a 3D printer in action, but also they could try and build cardboard models for the “City of innovation”. Kids enjoyed bringing their ideas to life at the Makers Lab and creating Christmas tree decorations using straws, styrofoam, scissors, glue and the most important – their imagination!

Makers Lab offers tools, space and knowledge to help you bring your ideas to life. Kliker Makers Lab is a place where creativity and skill transform into simple, but interesting shapes.
Everyone is welcome at Kliker! The youngest kids, as well as those less experienced, can create their firs mechanical or electronic devices, while the older ones can make their ideas become reality at the CPN Innovation Lab.
