The Cildren’s Science Camp was finished on the third weekend in August. This year, CPN organized DNK at the Archeological parc “Viminacium”.

The last group of children left Viminacium on Saturday, August 24, heading to Belgrade.

Similar to previous groups, these students spent three unforgettable days together with their CPN science demonstrators, discovering the world in an unusual way.

DNK is a special program, which was created by CPN in the summer 2013 in order to strengthen children’s scientific perception of the world, as well as curiosity, creativity and team spirit through specially developed programs.

DNK was opened on the World Science Day, on July 10. The camps were organized three times – from 10th to 12th of July, from 8th to 10th of August and from 22nd to 24th of August.

Participants at the DNK camps had the opportunity to learn more about archeology, anthropology, paleonthology, biology, physics, chemistry, metheorology, astronomy and psichology in the natural surrounding and in the company of children of their own age.

They participated at the number of workshop and watched the night sky through telescope. CPN took care about accomodation and food for children, as well as for their safety.

During the program, special attention was given to the medical care in case it would have been needed, which fortunately did not happen.

Besides this, the participants enjoyed the archeological parc Viminacium, where they had the opportunity to see Roman archeological site, as well as the mammoth cemetery.
