”Nikola Tesla“ Foundation awarded CPN with the ”Tesla Award”, for its outstanding contribution [:]
The board of directors of ”Nikola Tesla” Foundation, decided to give the ”Tesla Award” to CPN for its outstanding contribution in 2012.
The award was established by Nikola tesla Foundation, and it’s being given for achievements and contributions made in the previous year. As it’s stated, the award is given for: ”outstanding contributions to scientific research, and economical development of Serbia”.
The Foundation’s board of directors, with Prof. PhD ratislav Milovanović as Chairman, chooses the winner, and there have been many eminent scientist and engineers from Serbia, among the winners. Last year, in fact, the award went to Kosta Jovanović, from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade, who happens to be one of the CPN’s consultants
This year, however, besides awarding CPN, the Foundation awarded Prof. PhD Miroslav Mataušek, Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade, as well, for his scientific contribution to natural and technical sciences, and PhD Miloš Milošević, Research Consultant at the Innovation Centre of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
On the other hand, there were no winners in the category of technical engineering achievements and innovations.
Only three years since its establishment, and a number of deferent pop-science events, CPN was given the ”Tesla Award” in the category of ”achieving the goals of the Foundation by individuals and the organization”.
